Prawn Crackers

Do you eat prawn crackers ? You probably get these when you go to a Chinese restaurant but they’re a lot of fun to cook at home because they come as tiny hard pieces and when you drop them in hot oil they puff up quickly to a much larger size. Children love to cook these (I sure did) but you need to make sure to supervise them and make sure they have a good technique. Best is to use a small wire basket to minimise the chance of oil burns, but if your kids are smart they can probably shallow fry them one by one with chopsticks !

Oh and they go GREAT with beer. It says so on the packet !
